Catfish Farm & Aquaculture

Hello! My Name is Comfort Taiwo, originally from Nigeria and presently living in Brooklyn, New York. 
I am a catfish farmer and I specialize in the production and breeding of catfish fingerlings, juveniles, raising, and harvesting to the table size for consumption. I also create added value products by smoking, grilling & drying the fish. Since I arrived in America, it has been my passion to continue providing people with access to locally grown catfish and sharing in the traditional flavors of West African catfish dishes. 

When I discovered that most of the catfish consumed by Americans usually come from the southeast region of the country, I was moved with a great purpose to contribute to the sustainability of the Aquaculture Industry. 

Learning about the negative environmental impacts that modern-day Aquaculture Businesses have on our oceans, it was even more clear that I should begin my fish farm.

Scientists, Globalists, and Activists predict that by the year 2030, the demand for farmed fish in America will be approximately 103 million tons. With this prediction, I believed that my fish farm will be able to contribute to this demand in a more efficient way that will revolutionize the current Aquaculture Industry and the systems. I also believe this will improve the quality of food intakes and be a great blessing to millions of people in the country.

I am raising money to build my full-size production fish farm in East New York Brooklyn, named SALVATION & PRAISE SEAFOOD. 
Currently, my fish farm consists of over (4) 400-gallon fish tanks, and (4) hatching incubators. In order to expand, I need to purchase more aquaculture equipment. This equipment will help me to produce and grow over 100,000 catfish fingerlings by the end of 2020.
